Erik Klavon

"i think u're getting lame...you seem to be a little dorky...are you EECS?"
A comment by an unknown Cal student during an online conversation.

Erik Klavon lives in San Francisco, California. Erik is a Senior Network Architect in the Network Services group for Information Services and Technology at the University of California at Berkeley. At work Erik interacts with many network devices including routers, Un*x hosts (mostly FreeBSD) and the occasional Interocitor. He enjoys spending his free time reading, listening to (mostly classical) music and the radio, as well as using free and open source software via his model M keyboard. Erik holds an Amateur Extra Class radio license with the call sign KE6IPA. Various forms of public transit provide him with almost all the mobility he desires. Some have described his personality as exhibiting traits similar to those of a hacker while others simply call him white and nerdy. Erik is involved with many projects, groups, and organizations.
